Welcome to our practice
We have been looking after your teeth here at Rock Castle for almost forty years, providing complete dental care for your family in a caring and relaxed environment.
Good dental health is about having strong teeth and healthy gums throughout life. We believe that our friendly team and our sympathetic manner can help even the most anxious patients achieve this. We want all our patients from the very youngest to our most senior citizens to enjoy the benefits of trouble free teeth.
We offer comprehensive care in a safe environment, from essential preventative advice to techniques for improving your smile such as white fillings, ceramic crowns and tooth whitening.
We have two dentists, one dental therapist and one hygienist in the practice, supported by our fully trained and qualified staff, all of whom are registered with the GDC.

Jon Moore BDS GDC number 61548
Jon graduated from Bristol in 1986 and has worked at Rock Castle since then. He strongly believes that some simple messages about diet and brushing, together with regular check-ups and preventative treatment from an early age gives the best chance of keeping your mouth healthy for life, and reduce the need for dental treatment. He lives in Bristol and works there one day a week. If given the chance he can talk endlessly about bicycles or his mid-life crisis, a trackday car.
Maggie Pickard BDS LDS RCS GDC number 47556
Maggie graduated in London and after first working in hospital and then in the Community Dental Service joined Rock Castle. Since then she has looked after the dental needs of countless families, many of whom have stayed with her from the start. Maggie loves hearing her patients news about their families, and has a large collection of postcards they have bought back from their hoildays.
Lori Wilkinson CEB dental hygiene GDC number3562
Lori started her dental career in the army in 1985, before qualifying as a hygienist in 1988. She joined Rock Castle in 2009. She is passionate about providing the best patient care and oral hygiene advice, a fact that many of her loyal patients will confirm. When not promoting interproximal cleaning, she enjoys live music and holidays in the sun.
Ali Grice DDtherapy and hygiene GDC number171053
Ali qualified in Cardiff and joined the team at Rock Castle in 2014. As well as providing hygienist services, Ali is qualified to do restorative dentistry such as fillings. She can also carry out extractions and fillings for children, work that she finds particularly rewarding. She relaxes by practicing yoga and running.
